The main deity of the Glass Mazu Temple is Glass Mazu. The attending deities are Lord Wu, the Southern Earth God, Marshal Taiji, and Guanyin Bodhisattva of the South Sea. Tai Sui, the guardian deity of the year, is worshipped on the dragon side. Wenchang Dijun, the God of Learning, and Yue Lao, the God of Love, are worshipped on the tiger side. Generals Qianliyan and Shunfeng’er stand on both sides of the main hall to protect Mazu. To protect the environment, visitors only need one incense stick when worshipping. The temple does not burn joss paper.
