Origins of the Glass Mazu

The origins of the Glass Mazu are connected to five important Mazu sites across the Taiwan Strait.
The main deity worshipped in the temple is the Glass Mazu. Her divine title is “The Benevolent Heavenly Empress Who Brings Salvation to All Beings.”
According to divine guidance, the Glass Mazu was created to bring together the spiritual blessings of Mazu from five important places:
Her ancestral home in Putian
　1.Her birthplace
　2.The place of her ascension
3.The place where she first received official recognition and worship
4.The place where Mazu devotion first took root in Taiwan
The Glass Mazu’s mission is to spread kindness, help people in need, care for all beings, guide people to do good, improve society, and bring peace to the human heart.
After the Glass Mazu was consecrated and enshrined at Taiwan Husheng Temple, the Glass Mazu Temple began a new chapter in Taiwan’s religious faith and culture.
